Web Tool Smackdown- Photoshop Adobe
The app I chose to present for my Smackdown is Adobe Photoshop, a powerful tool I plan to use in my graphic design career, particularly in the advertising industry. As a graphic designer, I could work for companies like Netflix, where editing photos and creating high-quality images is essential. Photoshop would be the perfect app to remove imperfections from images, whether by blurring out blemishes or using the lasso tool to cut out parts of an image and place them in a new background. Its variety allows me to manipulate photos with precision, ensuring they meet the specific needs of my projects.
In addition to photo manipulation, Photoshop allows me to adjust a wide range of elements such as saturation, hue, brightness, and contrast. I can also use the brush tool to add unique designs and textures to the image, enhancing its visual appeal. Since many advertising projects require impactful visuals, I can utilize the text tool to add engaging words or slogans to the image, making it stand out in commercials or promotional materials. The ability to refine an image’s colors, details, and incorporate design elements ensures that the final product is polished and ready for commercial use, giving me the flexibility to create attention-grabbing content.
I have used photoshop before for a class, can be very useful for a marketing career.
ReplyDeleteAdobe Photoshop is a wonderful app! It allows for a myriad of manipulations and adjustments of photos to create a far more effective image! From my time using this application during art courses, there isn’t truly another alternative quite like it.
ReplyDeleteI have never used this tool before, but I can see how useful it is for editing. I saw a lot of different tools that can be used to edit the photo, making it very customizable.
