Adobe Illustrator is a vector-based software that is essential in graphic design. Illustrator allows anyone to create scalable graphics that can become any size. This makes it ideal for creating logos, ad campaigns, icons, and illustrations that are used in branding and marketing. It can help create ads that grab your attention, whether they are print, digital, or on social media platforms. By using precise tools such as the Pen Tool and Shape Builder, designers can create clean, professional designs with full creative control.

As a graphic design major, Illustrator plays a huge role in coursework and real-world projects. It is used for any type of assignment involving typography, layout design, and advertising materials. For example, designing business cards, posters, billboards, etc. Adobe Illustrator also prepares students for industry standards like branding, packaging, and promoting content.
