Technology Blog #6: Building Your Connected Learning Community and why it applies to my major
In chapter six, "Building Your Connected Learning Community," the author discusses the importance of connecting online. This chapter covers topics such as starting a personal learning network to tips on getting started online with blogs, Twitter, and Delicious. It also highlights the importance of researching an individual's background before you follow them. The author wrote, "Who you follow depends a great deal on the purpose or focus of your network." For example, let's say that a person blogs about something you disagree with or how they manage their classroom, you should be aware that maybe they are not the right person to follow. Additionally, this chapter wants you to think about certain questions before you interact with online communities.
